We’re gamblers and we’re not ashamed of it. We’re also keen travellers and make a habit of visiting the local casinos wherever we find ourselves. It’s no longer something you need to hide from your wife or husband – they can come too and many of our featured casinos are much more than just places to gamble – they are entire resorts in themselves.
From Moscow casinos with their beautiful hostesses to back street dives on the unlit lanes of Phnom Penh and of course to the neon wonderlands of Las Vegas, we’ve visited a fair few and won and lost some money in the process. There’s also a whole new market now opening up for visitors to other parts of South-East and East Asia as Macau and Singapore take the gambling world by storm. Macau is already the world’s biggest revenue generator and Singapore will soon overtake Australia in the Asian league table.

Not every country has casinos or legal gambling but we try to keep an exhaustive list of those that do. Europe has most of the oldest casinos while South and South East Asia have the newer mega-casino resorts but all have something to offer the discerning punter.
